The Iconic x River Island VAMFF Runway Show

European fashion brand, River Island and Australian online retailer, The Iconic launched their collaboration last week at Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. 

River Island has been available to Australian shoppers through Asos for some time, but The Iconic is putting a twist on things. The Iconic and River Island hosted a runway show at VAMFF, which could be shopped as soon as the show went live, with three hour delivery in Sydney and Melbourne to top it all off.

Internationally known, Melbourne based model, Ajak Deng led the show. Followed by a fierce line up of models head to toe in the latest trends, which were all readily available for consumers to buy on The Iconic. The show marked the launch of The Iconic's 3 hour delivery in Melbourne (which is already available in Sydney). Within the first two hours of the show going live, 500 pieces of the River Island collection had been sold. River Island offers stylish and unique pieces. The brand appeals to on trend, fast fashion consumers, with affordable pieces mostly ranging under AU$100.
